It is with immense sorrow that we must announce the passing of our good friend Bob Johns MBE, founder of our chosen charity, The Robert Johns Leukaemia Fund. More often than not, he would turn up to our live performances and if you experienced a sharp pain as your shoulder was gripped and shook, you would turn around and see Bob beaming at you. An eloquent eulogy written by his close friend Linda Cobbledick will give you an idea of just what a wonderful human being he was. www.rjlf.org.uk
Our thoughts go out to his family and we know that on our next live performance, we will miss him out there in the crowd (talking louder than our music!), and helping us to load out at the end of the night but most of all we’ll miss his smile… and we’ll raise a glass.
