A powerful and militant song about the arguably unjust contrast between the lives of the mine owners and the miners themselves at the turn of the century.
Beautifully written by Sally Harris of celtic group, Gone Molly who reside in Queensland, Australia but who are planning to tour the UK soon.
Having sent a copy of our rendition of the song, we were delighted to receive a complimentary response from her stating,
“We received the recording and love it – so very different from our version, which is wonderful – and everyone loves your turnaround at the end, (in fact we might even steal it!)”.
