It’s looking like this summer is going to be an exciting and memorable one.
Of course, there’s the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival in June which is arguably our best weekend of the year every year.
However, there’s some strong competition for the Summer of 2023.
We have our live heat for Pilton Stage near Glastonbury on the 22nd July. If we’re fortunate enough to go through, we’ll be in the Pilton Stage Final on the 5th August.
And then just when we’re coming down from wondering where that might take us, we’ve been invited to perform in Appingedam, The Netherlands at the end of August! The Bie Daip Festival is the largest folk and seasong festival in Europe and we’ll be there! Three days of cider drinking and singing in The Netherlands – what could possibly go wrong?!
And then back home for the second (autumn) leg of our Bal Maiden Concert Tour through September to November.
