Harmony-driven folk-rock from Cornwall, blending rich three-part vocal harmonies, original songwriting, accomplished musicianship and engaging theatre-style performances.
The Countrymen are a harmony-driven folk-rock band from Cornwall, known for their original songwriting, rich vocal arrangements and engaging live performances. Drawing comparisons to Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne and Crosby, Stills & Nash, they blend powerful storytelling, humour and atmospheric musicianship to create memorable theatre-style shows. Rooted in the landscapes, history and character of Cornwall, their songs combine regional themes with universal stories that resonate far beyond their home county. The band has built a loyal following, regularly selling out theatres including the iconic Minack Theatre, and has performed internationally in both Europe and the United States.
