The Countrymen are now an “international” band! We’ve just come back from our first appearance in Europe. Bie Daip is Europe’s largest folk and seasongs festival and is held annually in Appingedam, The Netherlands, quite close to the German border. It was a 20 hour roadtrip via the Harwich ferry but the long trek was certainly well worth it. The Dutch welcome was so warm and we made many new friends including German band La Kejoca who joined us on stage at the end of the night for a jam.
