Vocalist, Percussionist and Banter-Man, Steve Gilbert, is taking on a big personal challenge this Easter.
To complete a gruelling 125 mile non-stop kayak race from Devizes in Wiltshire to Westminster Bridge.
He will be joined in the two-man kayak by his son-in-law, Ryan Pearce, who has completed the worlds longest non-stop kayak race no less than 8 times and has even won the race once although a few years ago. Not everyone finishes and whilst the two paddlers have high hopes of walking up the steps at Westminster, they know that there is the possibility that they won’t. So to ensure that their efforts are not in vain, (they’ve been training since last September), they have decided to use their challenge to raise funds for Children’s Hospice South West, Please watch the video below…
