We were really keen to perform our music across the length and breadth of Cornwall and beyond so from early 2019 we started introducing concert dates in small theatres around the county. We genuinely had no idea just how well they would be received! Performing in front of a seated audience that are fully focussed on us means that the slightest mistake will be spotted by all present. We inevitably raise our game resulting in some of the best gigs we’ve done. We like to think we put 100% into all of our appearances but we are particularly keen to make our concert dates just a little bit special.
“The River Rolls On” Tour came to an abrupt halt in 2020 due to the arrival of Covid-19 and few performances have happened since but with lockdown coming to an end, we have re-launched “The River Rolls On” Tour for 2021 to coincide with the release of our second CD album by the same name (it’s still not quite ready but soon!). We’re delighted to see our first four concert dates sell out and hope for more of the same so book early!
Go back to the top for the dates and tickets as they become available……….
We travelled up from Penzance to see The Countrymen perform in Launceston. It was, without doubt, the best performance of its kind I’ve ever seen and heard, by musicians who love their business and make their enthusiasm infectious. I wish we could have stayed longer, but can’t wait until February when I hope to see them again in Penzance. (Will Fry)
If you get the chance to see these guys ( The Countrymen) in concert then take it, you will not be disappointed.
The guys were absolutely brilliant @ Lane Theatre Newquay last night!! Go see ’em you won’t be disappointed.
